Potential NYC Mayoral Candidate John Catsimatidis Disappointed in CIA

Catsimatidis Tells Gotham Talk Radio He Expects Better Intelligence Gathering

John Catsimatidis Gotham NewsGotham Talk Radio’s “In Your Face Politics” show this Sunday featured an interview with potential New York City Mayoral Candidate, John Catsimatidis. The show, hosted by New York Politicos Brad Gerstman & David Schwartz, can be heard on New York’s hottest Talk Radio Station, AM 970, The Apple, every Sunday Morning, from 10-11AM on Gotham Talk Radio (www.gothamtalkradio.net). The trio discussed the big events of the week, including, of course, the death of Osama bin Laden, and the role Pakistan played in this monumental event, and it can be listened to here: http://gothamtalkradio.net/videos/sunday-may-8-john-catsimatidis-michelle-drayton/.

“I’m disappointed in our CIA, in their intelligence gathering,” Catsimatidis said. “It sounds like half of Pakistan … knew where he was. All the retired generals of Pakistan live in that town, and here is the only house in the whole town with 18 foot walls. It’s a joke. It really is a joke.”

When pressed by Schwartz and Gerstman, Catsimatidis went on to explain further.

“The other possibility is they’re (Pakistani government) scared of their own people,” he said. “… The politicians are scared to tell their people that they’re cooperating with our government, cooperating with our CIA because they don’t know their reactions and because they’re elected by a threat. But if I was in government, I’d be very disappointed if they kept the secret and never told us.”

“Catsimatidis has a real understanding of domestic and foreign affairs, and while his commentary is provocative, he makes some very valid points,” Gerstman said.

“In Your Face Politics” is a key show on The Apple’s provocative line-up of nationally syndicated shows, with hosts like Dennis Miller, Bill Bennett and NY’s own, Curtis Sliwa.

Carl Paladino, Jimmy “The Rent Is Too Damn High” McMillan

Listen to the entire show here:

Gotham Talk Radio’s “In Your Face Politics” show hosted by New York Politicos, Brad Gerstman & David Schwartz, today highlighted interviews with former Republican Gubernatorial Carl Palandino, and Jimmy McMillan, former Gubernatorial and Mayoral Candidate, and founder of the Rent is too Damn High Party.

Paladino brashly called the budget of his former opponent, Governor Andrew Cuomo, “concocted.”

“Show us the exact breakdown of where that money went,” Paladino said. “Show us where you saved 2.5 billion dollars on Medicaid because the entire committee that he appointed to study that has no idea how they valued that. How did they came up with 2.4 billion dollars?”

Jimmy McMillan was the other guest on today’s broadcast, who famously founded The Rent Is too Damn High Party. On today’s broadcast, he said he hoped Donald Trump would run as his Vice President in his bid for the 2012 Presidency.

“This week’s line-up of guests gave our listeners a really interesting hour,” Gerstman says. “Every week is different – but every week is sure to be an hour of ‘In Your Face’ political talk!”
